Sir Walt is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. During his childhood, Sir Walt always enjoyed doing comedic antics for friends and family. While in high school, he was affectionately known as the "class clown", keeping his teachers and fellow classmates in stitches. In 1987, Sir Walt was chosen by his classmates to write and produce their Senior Class Day, not knowing that eight years later he would be starting his comedic career. His first source of support was from comedian Henry Welch. While joking around on the local basketball courts, Henry encouraged Sir Walt to take his jokes into the clubs. From that day on, Sir Walt developed into one of Birmingham's funniest comedians. He has been featured on BET's Comic View and HBO's Bad Boys of Comedy, hosted by P. Diddy. As well as on other hit comedy shows such as Starz's 1st Amendment Comedy Show in addition to performing at some of the top comedy clubs, universities, colleges, civic centers and auditoriums across the country. Such performances have taken him across the nation to cities such as Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta, Detroit, Chicago, New Orleans, St. Louis and Miami, just to name a few. Performing for diverse crowds has enabled him to effortlessly adapt and masterfully blend his comedic timing with audience participation. Through his ability to adapt, Sir Walt has developed into a writer and a producer for several upcoming comedians and written for shows such as The Way We Do It, featured on BET as well as for well-known comedian Rickey Smiley. Sir Walt currently resides in Birmingham, Alabama and believes, "It ain't who you know, it's who you're looking at", because everyone needs to be given a chance, no matter if you know them or not!
