Born and raised in Birmingham during the Reagan administration, Narado honed his performance skills participating in his elementary, middle, and high school choirs, bands, drama clubs, JROTC, and sports teams, all of which, as any former high school student understands, provided the unintentional hilarity and deep-seated bitterness necessary for a career in stand-up comedy. His first experiences with comedy came while he was a student at the University of Montevallo, emceeing different campus events. His stand-up debut came in May of 2009 at the Barking Kudu's Monday night open mic, ComicKaze. He has since become a regular and crowd favorite. He also has become infamous for passing along his favorite bit of advice, "......," which was passed on to him by a mute friend whose words, Narado says, "changed my life in a way that I will never be able to repay."
