Mike Kennedy has spent the majority of his adult life either undercover or under the influence…and sometimes even he can’t tell which one he is at the moment. Mike grew up on the mean streets of small town Wisconsin. It’s where he developed a fondness for Waylon Jennings, hip hop, and drinking beer in sub-zero temperatures. After college, Mike moved to Arizona where he worked as a private investigator for over a decade before starting his comedy career in 2007. Mike brings to the stage a wealth of stories about what happens when people don’t know they’re being watched or heard. He delves into his life as a single dad of a teen daughter obsessed with zombies as well as the perils of dating when your credit score and weight are almost identical.
Mike’s comedy has been featured on the syndicated television show Right This Minute and the United Kingdom comedy website Chortle. He’s been on Sirius Raw Dog radio and was selected for the 2013 San Luis Obispo Comedy Festival. Mike’s a two time participant in the World Series of Comedy in Las Vegas, winning a wild card round in 2010. He’s also a regular at Stand Up Scottsdale, Stand Up Live in Phoenix, and the Tempe Improv. In 2013, Mike created The Marshmallow Show where audience members can throw marshmallows at the comedians. Shows are Saturdays at Stand Up Scottsdale.
Just a glimpse at why anyone and everyone should vote for Mike Kennedy the next time they enter a voting booth.
