A perpetual hapless hero, Michael is regarded by peers as one of the sharpest writers and quickest wits in the business. Thoughtful, adept, engaging -- his intelligent observations and natural rapport make him a constant crowd favorite. Wielding an astute comfortable style often described as "amplified by microphone", and a way with women even more often described as "feeble", Michael plies a smart, clean, flexible approach that appeals to club and private audiences alike.
A favorite at his home club, the 450-seat San Jose Improv, Michael has middled for some of the biggest names in comedy, including Bob Saget, Richard Lewis, Brian Regan and Jeff Dunham. Surpassing over 100 comedians from around the country, Michael won the 2005 Rooster T. Feathers Annual Comedy Competition in Sunnyvale, California. He is also the winner of the 2007 Tommy T's Comedy Club "Comedy and Chaos" Competition in Pleasanton, California. In 2004, Michael appeared at the Gulf Coast Comedy Festival in Destin, Florida, and so impressed organizers that he was invited back to headline the 2005 Seaside event. Michael has also topped the bill at the Big Island Comedy Festival in Kona, Hawai'i.
Michael has entertained private audiences from Cisco, Nokia, Ernst & Young, Intel, the American Cancer Society, Century 21 Champion, San Francisco State University, the Santa Clara University School of Law and the San Jose State Athletic Department and many, many others.
Michael loves to make people laugh, and donates his time and talent to numerous charitable causes. In his spare time, he enjoys writing about himself in the third person.
