Michael Sanchez became enamored with comedy while studying improv at the UCB Theater in New York City and later sunk his teeth into sketch writing while living in Seattle. He finally turned his attention to stand-up comedy following his move to Chicago in 2006 and, in addition to being seen in rooms all over The Windy City, has performed his off-kilter act in venues on both coasts, including Seattle's Bumbershoot and The Seaport Music Festival in New York City. He has had the luck and pleasure of opening for some of his very favorite comedians, such as Kyle Kinane, Brent Weinbach and Tracy Morgan.

He is a co-founder of Chicago's Comedians You Should Know and, in addition to writing and directing a number of award-winning comedic shorts, is eternally in post-producton on his first feature film The Return of Great Guy.
