Michael Goldstrom is an actor, comedian and filmmaker based in Los Angeles.
As an actor he can be seen in Comedy Central's first film Porn Chicken, The Lost Battalion A & E, Heights Merchant Ivory, The Sopranos HBO, Law & Order: SVU NBC, Approaching Union Square Jury Prize best Ensemble performance, Reelz Channel Movie Takes, and the shorts Equal Opportunity Winner NBC ShortCuts, HBO Comedy Fest, and The Dance of Genghis Cohn AFI. Selected Off-Broadway and regional productions include The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged, Kitty Kitty Kitty, Can-Can with Patti Lupone also dialect coach, Narrator with the New York Philharmonic, Modern Orthodox world premiere, Old Wicked Songs, All in the Timing, and the Broadway-bound Mambo Kings.
As a filmmaker, his first short, Press or Say appeared in over thirty international film festivals, winning the top awards for Best Comedy and Best Short at the Houston Worldfest, Mumbai International Film Fest, Bare Bones International Film Fest, Chinese America Festival of Film and Culture, Angelus Awards, and Century City Film Festival.
As a comedian he has appeared throughout New York City at Caroline's, Stand Up New York, Gotham Comedy Club, Boston Comedy Club, New York Comedy Club, Komedy Kebob, Yello, Nevada Smith's and more. In Los Angeles he can be seen at the LA Comedy Festival 2007 and at the Comedy Store and the Hollywood Improv.
Michael is a graduate of The Juilliard School Drama Division, The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, and Columbia University. He has also trained extensively at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, The Robert Abramson Dalcroze Institute, UCLA, NYU, Upright Citizens Brigade, Improv Olympic, The People's Improv Theater, The Voiceover Connection.
