Lee Willis’ Bio
Lee Willis’ idea of amusement is mentally filing away the absurdities and paradoxes of everyday life and then unleashing his observations with a caustic wit that resonates with audiences. Weather he is verbally dissecting pop culture, an everyday expression, or a personal experience, Lee’s ability to convey his musings is always fun to hear.
Lee began his comedy career in Palm Harbor, Florida, where he was called upon to host the open mic at The Comedy Zone there for several months during his first year of standup.*
After moving to northern Virginia for a year Lee worked with First Laugh Entertainment out of Fredericksburg, VA.* He is also a contributing writer for ‘Crazy Late With Johnny Millwater.’ Also, he has featured for nationally touring comedians Doug Canney; of HBO’s ‘Eastbound and Down’, as well as Erik Myers; winner of ‘Florida’s Funniest Comedian’ for 2011, and Lynne Koplitz; of ‘Comedy Central Presents.’ * Lee currently resides in The Tampa Bay area.
