Ken Barnard has been doing comedy for over 8 years. He has performed at the Comedy Central Stage, Caroline's on Broadway, Just For Laughs Chicago and at festivals around the world.
Ken won the 2008 Chicago Comedy Award for Most Innovative Performer, came in second place at the 2006 Andy Kaufman Award Contest, and was named "Best of the Midwest" at the Detroit Comedy Festival. He has been described as "a promising skinny oddball" by the London Evening Standard and "Chicago's best stand-up prankster" by Metroblog.
Ken has worked with several notable artists including Maria Bamford, Bo Burnham, Andy Kindler, Emo Phillips, Andy Richter, Kristen Schaal, Judy Tenuta, The Sklar Brothers, and Reggie Watts.
Ken practices what he calls Performance Comedy, a combination of stand-up comedy and performance art. He fuses absurd theatrics with props and music to create an engaging entertainment experience that saturates the senses.
Ken was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania - the City of Champions. He currently resides in Hollywood, California. Besides being a comedian, Ken is also an actor, improviser, vocalist, writer and Native American.
