Born and raised in San Antonio, TX, he started stand up comedy 13 years ago downtown at the Rivercenter Comedy Club. Since then, he's been seen on Comedy Central as a performer, a director and a writer. He's written for pilot shows in New York and Los Angeles. He's been seen on Comics Unleashed w/ Byron Allen, Latino 101, Fox's Red Eye, Latino Laugh Festival the Show and several other shows that are now in syndication. He currently performs at comedy clubs across the country.
He's performed at the New York Underground Comedy Festival, Boston Comedy Festival, Latino Laugh Festival, overseas for the troops, and was a the first Latino ever to be a finalist in the very prestigious San Francisco International Comedy Competition (a list that includes the Robin Williams and Ellen DeGeneres).
Avoiding the trends of raunchy comedy, Chris brings a fresh approach to getting a laugh. He's been compared to the likes of George Carlin and Dave Chappelle. He discusses race without pandering to easy stereotypes, riffs on relationships by presenting his own honest mistakes, and stays true to his own point of view. He encourages audience participation which makes every show an intimate experience. His reputation is lauded for his well written jokes and rapier wit on stage.
