Bad Rubbish was created in March of 2010 in a California living room when Matthew Chilelli and Ben DeLoose realized that the videos and scripts and projects and various nouns they had been creating for over a year needed a home. And that’s what Bad Rubbish is: a home for all their junk.
Ben and Matt met in January 2009 while hunting for apartments in Los Angeles. They soon discovered that doing so was really easy, especially considering the fact that apartments rarely move. After shooting, gutting, and stuffing one, they moved onto more important matters, like “how am I going to stay creative now that I’ve left college?”
The answer turned out to be their first short video: “Teleconference,” which they shot in May, 2009, and they proceeded to shoot many, many more.
Their favorite color is 000099.
