Adored by his fans and respected by his fellow comics, Mitch's humor combined surreal wordplay and a unique, whimsical worldview. Often hiding behind sunglasses and a floppy fringe, Mitch performed with a passion for comedy and a shyness that only endeared him to his audience.
Tragically, Mitch passed away in March of '05, at the age of 37. He released two albums and appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman ten times, and left the world of comedy as something of a cult figure. His legend continues to grow, and RooftopComedy is privileged to be able to share some rare and exclusive Mitch Hedberg videos with you, and host this tribute to his comedic genius.
