Tracy Tedesco's Stand-up Comedian Profile on Rooftop Comedy

Tracy is a nationally touring comedian working across the US for the past 4 years as the Urban Cougar. She offers savage, sexy social commentary on mating, geriatric dating, her downwardly mobile career, and fear of becoming a bitter skank, for the urban singles ghetto crowd..

Although she didn't start in the comedy circuit until her late 30's, Tracy had no problem breaking into the business. Her punchy, conversational style and larger than life personality made for a natural transition to stage. Tracy quickly started working around the country, building a strong reputation for keeping the audience laughing with her hip, urban act. Ten minutes with Tracy is like sitting in on cocktail hour with the girls from Sex & the City.

In 2003, Tracy caught the attention of Chicago based Soak Magazine www.soakmag.com who hired her to co-write their dating advice column, “He Says, She Says- Estrogen with An Attitude vs. a Thinking Man’s Neanderthal," available bimonthly at newsstands all over the US. It’s Tracy’s goal to become a female Dr. Phil, but without the molestache. All of the female relationship advice gurus on television are, at best, slightly masculine, post-menopausal and usually haven’t dated since Eisenhower was in office. There’s room for a new voice and that voice is Tracy’s alter ego, DinaV, the Ass Whisperer.

Tracy’s comedy career has included performing in all sorts of venues – comedy clubs, colleges, corporate events, bridal showers and a strip club. Tracy has performed in almost all 50 states as a saloon comic, and she is particularly fond of the states where people have most of their front teeth and don’t shout, “Get ‘R Done” the moment they see she’s a female.

In addition, she’s done two military tours, and survived to speak of it, entertaining the troops in Europe in 2004 in the “Leon and Tracy Comedy in the Med Tour,” with headliner Leon Rogers. In 2006, she traveled to Japan with the “BET Comedy All Stars”, and performed at Misawa and Yokota Air Bases. Since 2004, Tracy has been producing and performing across the country with Les Funny Femmes- Queens of Comedy. The Funny Femmes enjoyed a successful run at one of the Chicago's biggest nightclubs, Joe's Bar on Weed St in 2004, and in May 2006, the Femmes toured Washington and Oregon. In 2007, she unleashed the Urban Cougar Comedy Tour across America.
