Nola J is originally from Milwaukee, WI and is now commuting between Milwaukee, Las Vegas and Los Angeles. Her career began as a comic when she left the corporate world and stopped being politically correct. Her style of comedy is very diverse and adaptable to all environments. Nola J. has clean material to adult oriented and has performed in a variety of venues. Entertainment is no stranger as her dad has been playing saxophone with Little Richard over 15 years and she does have jokes about Uncle Richard!!
Nola J’s comedy is her point of view on life and experiences with humor as she stays on top of current affairs, so there is always something fresh and new. Nola J also hosts her own Comedy Showcase in Milwaukee, WI for the last two years and is a regular at Giggles Comedy Pub in Milwaukee. She has also performed at a variety of venues throughout Wisconsin including the Comedy Café, Comedy on State, Skyline Comedy Club, Ho Chunk Casino, Mirmar Theater, and Comedy Sportz.
In Las Vegas Nola J has performed at Caesar Palace, Ponders Comedy Club and the Boardwalk Hotel as well as other locations in California and Chicago Nola J has performed in many sketch comedy and inprov shows and received training and experience with Comedy Sportz and Second City in Chicago. She is also a graduate from the University of Wisconsin’s Business School with a degree in Finance and currently enrolling in Law School.
