Mike’s skewed world view is the result of growing up on the mean streets of small town Wisconsin. It’s where he developed a fondness for the music of Kurtis Blow as well as drinking beer in sub-zero temperatures. After a stellar career as a 6’4” power forward on his 5-16 high school basketball team and somehow graduating from college, Mike moved to Arizona where he worked as a private investigator for twelve years before entering the world of stand up comedy. His views on politics, sports, parenting, and pop culture are just crazy enough to be sane. Mike is a regular at the Tempe Improv, Stand Up Scottsdale, and Laff’s in Tucson. He participated in the 2010 and 2011 World Series of Comedy in Las Vegas, winning a Wild Card Round show to advance to the semi finals of the event. While Mike’s mother would like him to get a job requiring a shirt and tie, he seems determined to be underemployed for the rest of his life.
Just a glimpse at why anyone and everyone should vote for Mike Kennedy the next time they enter a voting booth.
