Originally from the east coast, Matt Conty eventually settled in Denver, CO, where he began performing stand-up comedy in 2001. Although he has a headlining set worth of material to draw from, Matt’s true skill is improvising on stage and working with the crowd. His comfortable, laid-back attitude on stage establishes an atmosphere that compliments his delivery.
Matt was chosen to represent Colorado at the Las Vegas comedy festival, and shortly after that became a regular performer on the coveted Comedy Works roster. In addition to winning countless crowds over, Matt has won the respect of his comedy peers, opening for Jake Johannsen, Jim Gaffigan, and Dana Gould, to name a few.
After a recent move to Nashville, Matt quickly became a featured performer at Zanies Comedy Club. He recently earned the distinguished “Editor’s Choice Award” on the Crackle.com Comedy Channel. With a unique comedic voice and creative material, Matt Conty is one of the freshest comedians working in the industry today.
Currently Matt Conty hosts his own show on 91.1 FM in Nashville, Get Up Stand Up, this a feat in itself, developing a comedy radio show in Music City, USA.
