Luke Robbins is a standup comedian from Indianapolis. He is a graduate of Park Tudor School class of 2007. During his senior year, Luke collaborated with friend Austin Turner to record a full-length album of original songs (Beacon: "Bits and Pieces" available on iTunes). Since then, Luke used his songwriting experience to write funny songs, which make up a good portion of his act.
Luke is a member of the Wabash College class of 2011. Luke has been involved in bringing standup comedy to Wabash College this past year, hosting shows featuring the comic stylings of Craig Franklin, Charlie Lind, Tyjuan Williams, Kevin Butterfield, Jonathan Craig, Stephanie Lochbihler, and Jeff Oskay.
Luke's home comedy club is Crackers in Broad Ripple, Indianapolis. Since starting his career in late June of 2010, Luke has performed at Crackers, Lazy Daze, and the Ice House in Indianapolis, Bear's Place in Bloomington, IN, Wabash College in Crawfordsville, IN, the Falcon Club, and Wiley's Comedy Nightclub in Dayton, OH, where he featured on November 4th, 2010. Luke was the winner of Bear's Place's Stand Up Stand Out open mic competition on December 6th.
Luke's biggest comedy influences are Stephen Lynch, Flight of the Conchords, Nick Swardson, and Bill Bellamy.
