Lamar has been recognized for a comedic style that allows him to share his opinions without offending. He was quoted in the New York Times, earning him the nickname “the amiable gap toothed comic.”

Today Lamar is working clubs and colleges across the country and creating quite a buzz in the industry. As one of the Club Comic Picks for the “Laugh Across America” comedy contest, he was chosen to attend the “2005 Las Vegas Comedy Festival.”
