John developed his storytelling comedy style listening to Bill Cosby, the Smothers Brothers, and George Carlin in the 1960s and 70s. He was a writer for Gary Burbank’s WLW comedy radio show for 20+ years until Gary retired. John has performed at The Funny Bone, Go Bananas and other comedy shows with Lisa Landry, Drew Hastings, Mike Lukas and Ryan Stout. John is the 2010 winner of the "Funniest Person in Cincinnati" contest.
