Hal Sparks started doing stand-up at age 15, won The Funniest Teenager in Chicago Contest at 17, and moved to LA at 18. After that he did a lot of TV and languished in mild obscurity for 10 years until he became the host of Talk Soup.

More recently, you may recognize Hal from Dude Where's My Car?, from his role as "Michael" on Queer As Folk, or from his upcoming voice-work as "Tak" on Nickelodeon's Tak and The Power of Juju.

Hal also tours as a stand-up comedian and causes trouble.
