For a woman who thought she would end up in advertising, comedy turned out to be where she landed. Although being a comedian comes naturally to her, what is surprising to most is that Holly is usually the shyest person in a room. Those who know her well, knew that comedy was the path she was destined for. Yet she would often ignore the encouraging push from others. others. Secretly she admits she is grateful comedy never stopped pursuing her.
Growing up in Louisville, Kentucky, Holly had the stage at her beck and call. Armed with quick wit and a quirky imagination, she easily sets herself apart from the average classroom jokster.
While pursuing a Bachelors degree in Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan University, she also decided to take her sense of humor seriously. A lifelong learner, Holly officially accepted the title of “comedian, writer and improv actress” while training at the Second City Training Center in Chicago, IL.
In record time, Holly has been fortunate to open for D.L. Hughley, and work with Roy Wood Jr., Maronzio Vance, Tommy Johnagin, Louis Katz, Spanky Brown, Rodman and more. She has also peformed at Gilda's Laugh Fest and the Chicago Women's Funny Festival.
