Dan Telfer graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2001 with a Bachelor of the Arts degree, concentration in Acting. He began improvising comedy and theater in Chicago in 1997, and has coached improv teams for The Playground, Dirty South Improv, and several independant teams. He currently performs with a member team at The Playground, Pastor of Muppets. For three years he has written and performed solo performance pieces at the Live Bait Theater?s Fillet of Solo Festival. He is also the author of several plays that have been produced in this city. Most recently The Book of Grendel debuted in September 2005 with a company he?s seen often with, Theater Oobleck. Dan has appeared in many of their productions since they produced his 2000 play Ugly Friend, in which he played an alternate history's Adolph Hitler. He also writes the serial superhero play Rogue 8.
