Chris Corlae's Stand-up Comedian Profile on Rooftop Comedy

Chris Corlae is a stand up comedian and actor from Dallas, Texas. Chris has been studying acting and improv for over 20 years. Chris studied theatre and improv in college as well as digital music production. Besides being an accomplished actor, Chris is also a classically trained musician. Chris has appeared in many theatre productions around DFW including A Christmas Carol with the Dallas Theatre Center. Chris has also worked with international photography artist, Nic Nicosia for many years. He has appeared in several of Nic’s pieces that have hung in various museums including the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Guggenheim. While working with Nic, Chris also appeared in several of the artist’s video pieces as well as doing sound recording and voice over work for them.

Chris has been putting his focus into stand up comedy for several years now and in that time has had the privilege of working with many national headliners including Charlie Murphy, Jason Russell, Brad Williams, Bert Kreischer, and local favorite, Paul Varghese. Chris has also worked with many other Texas comedians of note including Raj Sharma, Justin Foster, Tone Bell, Dustin Ybarra, Nick Guerra, and Anthony Perez.

Chris is currently working on several different webisodes, podcasts, and scripts for television in addition to stand up comedy.
