Chelcie Rice; originally from Toccoa, GA., got most of his influences from classic comedians like Godfrey Cambridge, Redd Foxx, Don Rickles, Nipsey Russell and Flip Wilson. So he definitely appreciates the classic artists. He got his start the typical way by letting his friends talk him into trying stand-up comedy. After a couple of years of performing, this former class cut-up has earned the respect of his peers and audiences. He's performed at The Funny Farm , The Punchline, The Loft, The Comedy Catch and The Laughing Skull Lounge. He's shared stages with Christopher Titus, Daniel Tosh, Vince Morris and Bobby Slayton. He has performed at the North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival in Carborro, NC, The Laugh Your Asheville Off Comedy Festival in Asheville, NC and was a headliner at The Out of Bounds Comedy Festival in Austin, TX. He has also participated in several non-profit fund raisers for The American Diabetes Association.
