Comedian Co-Co's Stand-up Comedian Profile on Rooftop Comedy

Cassandra Morgan is a talented stand up comic. The creative comedic style of this comedienne will have you laughing at even the smallest things in life. She is a natural comedian who has a unique way of sharing personal life experiences. She captivates her audiences with short stories about church and being single. God has truly given Cassandra Morgan, AKA “Co-Co”, a mantle to present comedy to audiences of all ages. She is very energetic and mesmerizes the audience from beginning to end. During a Christian Women’s Leadership class in the spring of 2002, a prophetic word of laughter was spoken into Cassandra’s life. That prophesy manifested two-months later when Cassandra was afforded the opportunity to perform during the amateur segment of the Woman Thou Art Loosed “Night of Comedy” Show. Since winning the contest Cassandra has been successfully performing live at various churches/organizations/venues around the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex and other cities such as, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Sacramento, Atlanta, Memphis, San Francisco, Oakland, Berkley, St.Maarten (US Virgin Islands), Barbados, Lafayette, New Orleans, etc.

She has also performed “live” at the Dr. Bobby Jones Gospel Industry Retreat. She is featured on a compilation DVD produced by Lions Gate Studios called “Bobby Jones Comedy All Stars”. She has also shared the stage with other well-known comics such as Sherrie Shepherd (Co-host ABC’s The View), Ms. Laura (Queens of Comedy and host of BET’s Comic View), Jonathan Slocomb (The Steve Harvey Show), Corey Holcomb (MTV’s Wild N Out), Ron "G" (Bill Bellamy’s Who’s Got Jokes), Trina Jeffries “Sister Cantaloupe”, Gospel Comedienne, Comedian Bone (BET Comic View), and many others.

Cassandra has performed in numerous plays, and has worked with Fred Hammonds Family Entertainment Company. She starred in Fred Hammond’s DVD “Oak Cliff 97214” She had a feature role in Fred's hit stage play “Christmas Who Needs It?" and she's been a guest on Fred Hammond’s "Radio Fred" Internet Radio Show.

She has been seen on the National reality court TV Show, “Eye For An Eye”, which airs Monday thru Friday at 3:30am (CST) on The CW (Channel 33) in Dallas, Texas. She was the feature article of the Online Newspaper “Inspirational Times” for the month of June 2008. Cassandra undoubtedly believes in God’s word and holds on to His spiritual truths.
