Brian Shelsby is a stand-up comic performing out of Acme Comedy Company in Minneapolis, MN.

As an adopted Korean male, living in an upper middle class white town near the beach, this young Asian male, who enjoys surfing, longboarding, sports, exercise, math and science, music and comedy, honed a razor sharp wit, and a very good sense of humor as a defense mechanism to avoid getting beat up. He uses his intelligence to draw emotionally scarring events from his past and put them in a humorous format, without it coming off as sad. Brian can be described as a lovable loser. He has always been good at a lot of things, but never great at any of them. So come see how his complete lack of self esteem growing up has made him into the quick to make fun of himself, but always funny, sometimes sad man he is now on stage. He is confident in the fact that he is not confident, and that my friends is confidence you can love. I’m the kind of guy who can fit into any social circle, I am like a renaissance man.
