Born and raised in Birmingham, AL, Bernard Johnson was a classic case of the brilliant student bored with grade school. So when he wasn't sleeping in class, he was disturbing it. Whether it is chemistry 101, a fraternity beauty pageant, a university talent show, church banquet, or even a Klan rally, Bernard has a gift of making any crowd laugh. His brand of comedy is a soulful blend of personal experiences, unique observations, and obscure thoughts served on a griot platter.
