Taylor Williamson
I met Taylor doing "Last Comic Standing" and he is now one of my favorite up and coming comics. His joke writing is really clever and he has this wonderfully awkward presence. I love this video in particular because it's his own view of the world and nobody sees things like Taylor does. I also owe him some money so hopefully this blurb will make us even.
Tig Notaro
I first saw Tig perform in Montreal this summer and I was in complete awe of her as a performer. She has this really laid back approach but her jokes are SO smart. She's one of the few comics I could sit and watch for hours and never get bored. I love her "No Moleste" bit, but I'm picking this video because I can definitely relate to anyone telling a story about having a weird name.
Myq Kaplan
Myq was also on my season of "Last Comic," but I've been a fan of his for a while. He's not your typical tough guy comic who's talking about banging chicks. He's got a unique point of view and a very conversational delivery. I love this video because I don't do a lot of crowd work myself and he basically confirms why it's a terrible idea.
Erin Foley
I've been a big fan of Erin's for a long time and not in the gay kind of way. She was one of the first comics I saw perform live in Los Angeles and she absolutely killed me. I think she's one of the most talented comics out there and I can't believe she's not on a sitcom yet. I picked this video because if there are two things I love, it's the gym and hot ladies. Who's with me!?!
