Four Top Comedians to Visit Chicago in June to Perform at TBS Presents a “Very Funny” Festival: Just For Laughs

TBS and Rooftop Comedy are embarking on a nationwide search for America’s funniest college students with the 3rd Annual Rooftop Comedy National College Comedy Competition (NCCC). The NCCC pits stand-up comedians from universities across the country against one another in a series of on-campus and online competitions – ultimately crowning the Funniest College Comedy Team and Funniest College Comedian in the U.S. The competition will climax this June in Chicago, where the four top college comedians will be invited to perform at TBS Presents a "Very Funny" Festival: Just For Laughs.

The NCCC begins with 32 universities from around the country battling both on stage and online, with public voting helping to determine who advances at each stage of the competition. In addition to besting other schools with the most hilarious stand-up comedy performances, each comedy team must create the funniest rival roast videos and on-the-fly one-liners to avoid elimination. Ultimately, The Funniest Four comedy teams compete in the National Team Finals at the Aspen Rooftop Comedy Festival June 10-13, with the top four individual comics going on to perform at the National Student Finals in Chicago at TBS Presents a "Very Funny" Festival: Just For Laughs, which takes place June 15-19. The Festival lineup for the Chicago event, along with ticket sales information, will be announced soon.

Students, alums and comedy fans of all stripes can catch all of the college comedy action at tbs.com, where they can watch and vote for their favorite comedians and teams at each stage of the series. The site also provides details on where to see the live comedy showdowns around the U.S., the Team Finals in Aspen and the National Student Finals in Chicago.

April 7 – Xavier University vs. Ohio State University @ Go Bananas in Cincinnati
