Rooftop Comedy Launches Record Label, 'Rooftop Comedy Productions'

Leading Provider of Original Comedy Produces & Distributes Live Comedy Albums; 3 New Albums Available Today
Rooftop Comedy (www.RooftopComedy.com), the leading interactive media producer of comedy content and comedic branded entertainment, this week launches Rooftop Comedy Productions, a new record label devoted to the production and distribution of live comedy albums.
Rooftop Comedy records live stand-up performances 365 nights a year at their network of over 25 comedy clubs in North America, Europe and Australia, distributing selections of the content to their dozens of media partners that include Apple iTunes, Yahoo! News, Nokia, Hulu, TiVo and many more. To support select comics, Rooftop Comedy occasionally produced full-length albums using its proprietary audio recording technology. Today, Rooftop Comedy has formalized this practice and will regularly be producing and/or distributing both physical and digital audio recordings of select comics on iTunes, RooftopComedy.com, and Napster.
"Over the years we have produced one-off albums for certain comedians we see as being extraordinarily talented, and we've grown to the point where we are now produce more full-length comedy albums than any other label ," said Will C.
