Senior Project Manager Apply

We're hiring a Senior Project Manager / Engagement Manager to:

• Lead the execution of client-facing integrated marketing & branded entertainment engagements
• Provide consultative strategic direction to major brands, identifying appropriate services to meet their needs
• Manage day-to-day client relationships, assuring overall client satisfaction
• Up-sell additional programs and services and assist in acquiring new clients

The ideal candidate for this position will have proven client relationship management skills from within an advertising agency or marketing consulting environment; consumer marketing expertise; a demonstrated background in interactive media and/or branded entertainment; and tactical promotions and/or event logistics execution experience.

The Senior Project Manager will assist in developing integrated marketing and branded entertainment strategies for our consumer-focused brand clients. The Senior Project Manager will handle all day-to-day logistics, and be the main point of contact for a range of client contacts and business partners. The candidate will be responsible for overall client relationships, scope of work management, program development, program execution, and client satisfaction.

The Senior Project Manager will also be responsible identify and developing new business opportunities within the accounts and participating in business development for new accounts.

Additional criteria include:

• 4+ years of agency and/or consulting experience
• Proven track record of executing successful integrated consumer marketing programs for major brand clients (including traditional, interactive and/or event marketing)
• Demonstrated ability to administer interactive media and/or branded entertainment projects
• Successful track record of managing client engagements and accounts

Graphic Designer Apply

Rooftop Comedy is looking for a razor sharp, experienced, cutting-edge web Graphic Designer to join our San Francisco-based team. The Graphic Designer will help shape the creative direction for the firm, create new and compelling interactive campaigns and assets, and originate a wide range of web and mobile designs. Candidates should be interested in pushing the boundaries of their creative talents and working in a fast-paced and exciting environment.

Qualifications include:

• An exceptional web design portfolio with proven experience both originating new web design concepts as well as iterating on design prototypes
• Demonstrated experience conceptualizing online design projects, rapid-prototyping solutions, and incorporating team feedback into final designs
• A very solid understanding of IA, HCI and web usability
• A strong desire to work with non-traditional, non-corporate comedic content; to develop original, thought-provoking and — at times — funny designs, while balancing the need to adhere to the most up-to-date usability parameters
• An extraordinarily sharp eye for detail and the desire and ability to work both strategically and tactically
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• A working knowledge of HTML, CSS, & Flash would kick serious ass

Event Marketing Intern Apply

The Event Marketing Intern will lead or assist with a variety of events, advertising, promotions, sponsorship and public relations activities. Rooftop Comedy is launching a nationwide event series among 32 colleges and universities in search of the funniest stand-up comedian and comedic short filmmakers. The internship offers the opportunity to gain real experience in all aspects of event execution and management as well as direct, hands-on experience across a variety of marketing and promotional disciplines. While the focus will be on event execution for the National College Comedy Competition, the intern will also have opportunities to enhance their skills with online and interactive marketing.

Candidates should have:

• Past experience in marketing and/or events promotions
• Be highly organized, with demonstrated examples of past project management experience
• Superb writing skills
• An interest in stand-up comedy
• Proficiency with MS Office applications; some HTML or Photoshop experience a plus
• An ability to travel occasionally throughout the internship
• Must be a team player, communicate well and work effectively in partnerships with internal departments and outside companies

Internships will last a minimum of 12 weeks and may be either full-time (40 hrs. / week) or part-time (20 hrs / week). Opportunity for full-time employment for the successful intern. Recent college graduates with some marketing experience or MBA students encouraged to apply.

Marketing Intern Apply

The Marketing Intern will lead or assist with a variety or advertising, promotions, sponsorship and public relations activities. The internship offers the opportunity to gain direct, hands-on experience across a variety of marketing and promotional disciplines. While the focus will be on online and interactive marketing, there will be plenty of opportunity for offline events and promotional activities as well.

Candidates should have:

• A deep affinity for and knowledge of leading social networking applications
• Past experience in online marketing and/or events promotions
• Superb writing skills
• A passion for online, interactive media
• An interest in stand-up comedy
• Proficiency with MS Office applications; some HTML or Photoshop experience a plus

Coffee and Donuts Dude / Dudette Apply

The title says it all

Rooftop is currently seeking marginally qualified applicants for this unique but most critical of positions. Responsibilities include:

• Coming up with funny crap to put on the web
• Making a mean cup of coffee. Or knowing where you can buy one
• Running errands, being reasonably helpful, or just chilling out around the office
• Ability to lift up to 64 ounces

Must prefer "Coffee and Donuts Dude" job title to "Barista", "Barist-o", "Beverage Specialist" or "Executive Vice President".
